I gather user feedback, analyze data, pattern research, and scope the competitor to spot key opportunities.
I begin with sketches to capture initial ideas, then transition to Figma to build high-fidelity blockouts that showcase core layout and functionality.

After aligning with Product on the vision, I start with designing the most critical user flows and test, if time allows. These focused mockups validate assumptions and guide the next phase of refinement.
I present each design to stakeholders, gather feedback, and refine accordingly. This ensures the final product aligns with both user needs and business goals. If time allows, this is also where more user testing comes in.

Once designs are refined, I produce complete flows and prototypes for all required breakpoints. At this stage, I lock in visuals and interaction.
Recent work
As the Director of UX, I collaborated with product leadership at Rubbl to launch a new marketplace from scratch, focusing on the full responsive work and conference events materials, booth and swag designs. I was additionally responsible for the design for the entire transportation app and marketplace admin interface, and personally traveled to four states to photograph 1,000+ pieces of heavy machinery for the initial catalog. Working with a small, fast-paced team, I also spearheaded our transition from Sketch to Figma—creating meticulously built components that streamlined collaboration and accelerated overall design velocity.

To balance the life of my innie's (IYKYK) tech career, I prefer spending my free time outside. Swimming, hiking, oly lifting, yoga, camping, and getting whomped in the waves while trying to surf are a few of my current favorite activities.
